On April 29, at the construction site of CSE, a group of owners and third parties, including Industrial Construction Center of CNOOC Shenzhen, the Offshore Project Team and China Classification Society, witnessed the join-up of the main structure of Lufeng 8-1 DPP Jacket, Phase II Development Project of Lufeng Oilfields, which marked a milestone in jacket construction of this project.

Currently, due to the heavy production tasks of our projects under construction, the operating environment of employees in a restricted site or space has become more complex, and the unpredictable safety hazards have sharply increased as well. In view of this, a periodical retraining for the certified SOS personnel was conducted on the afternoon of March 28. Organized by the security department, this training includes basic CPR, four basic techniques of pre-hospital emergency treatment, conventional on-site first aid techniques and so on. At the same time, the related personnel practiced the use of first aid equipment so as to enhance their proficiency.

On the afternoon of March 28, Wang Zhen, Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of CNOOC Energy Economics Research Institute, and other comrades conducted a field research to CSE with a focus on our marketing and projects under construction. The relevant personnel involved in this research includes Gao Shuang, Deputy General Manager of Deep Water Engineering and Construction Center of Shenzhen Branch, and Ge Zhihai, Executive Deputy General Manager of the company.
