On the morning of December 29, the commencement ceremony of the land construction of jacket for Ledong 10-1 Gas Field was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of Chiwan Building as scheduled. Liu Kang, leader of the Industrial Construction Center of CNOOC Hainan Oil & Gas Co Ltd., Yu Faling, chief of the site, Du Chunlei, manager of the offshore project team, Ge Zhihai, deputy general manager of CSE, and other leaders attended the ceremony.

At the commencement ceremony, Mr. Liu delivered a speech and introduced the general situation of Ledong 10-1 Gas Field Development Project. It is the first ultra-high temperature and high pressure gas field in China. Its successful development will fill the gap in this field in China and provide valuable experience and a model for the industry. The project is of great significance.

Ledong 10-1 Project is the second project given to CSE by CNOOC Hainan Oil & Gas Co Ltd. after Lingshui 25-1 Project. CSE will fulfill its mission, complete the project on schedule with good quality and quantity on the premise of ensuring work safety, strive to recreate high-quality projects, fully support CNOOC to increase reserves and production, and contribute to the development of national marine industry.
