Yard Upgrading (quayside). Maximizing Production Capacity

In October, our newly upgraded quayside was officially opened next to Skidway number 2 of the Company. Progressing into the second phase of the deep-water quayside, we can see two skidways with a length of more than 160 meters extending toward the sea, and equipped with two tall gantry cranes constantly working back and forth near the quayside.

It used to be a storage area that we found difficult to integrate and utilize, and it was surrounded with a long-barbed wire fence, which limited the construction of Skidway Number 2, and our construction resources could not be fully utilized. This year, the Company had launched many new projects. In response to those extremely challenging project production tasks, release the fabrication space and improve the production efficiency of the site, the leaders decided to make new plans and give new functions to the newly upgraded quayside of the deep-water wharf.

After four months of upgrading work renovation, the two gantry cranes have been relocated as a whole, the original unloading area has been relocated to the larger new yard, and the construction area of Skidway Number 2 has been greatly expanded, which improve the yard space for jacket assembly and construction. Through this upgrading project, the entire project production system has been improved, enabling the Company to undertake more projects and provide a shorter schedule.
