Newsletter on commencement of land prefabrication of Xijiang 30-2 DPPB jacket

On the morning of May 24, the kick-off meeting for the land prefabrication of Xijiang 30-2 DPPB jacket was held in the conference room on the 4th floor of Chiwan Building as scheduled. The owners of Engineering Construction Center of CNOOC Shenzhen, the Offshore Project Team, CCS, and Ge Zhihai, Executive Vice President of CSE, attended the kick-off meeting together with the heads of relevant departments.

Xijiang 30-2 oilfield, located in the Pearl River Mouth Basin of South China Sea, is one of the cooperative oilfields put into operation earlier in the eastern South China Sea. As early as 2013, CSE undertook the construction of Xijiang 24-3 DPPB jacket for this oilfield. The project was widely praised by the owners. Ten years later, with outstanding engineering performance, CSE once again started a new development project of Xijiang 30-1 zone. Xijiang 30-2 jacket weighs more than 11,000 tons and its land construction is expected to be completed in May 2024. CSE will, as always, complete the construction task with high quality and efficiency while ensuring work safety, to fully meet the expectation of the owners.
