The jacket 20-5 for J368 Enping Project was loaded on board on August 3 and sailed on August 11, marking the successful completion of onshore construction of the jacket.
Regardless of the similar design and weight with jacket 10-2 for Enping Project, the jacket 20-5 needs to be completed within shorter construction period. On top of that, the final assembly was delayed by the change of wood supplier in the early stage, resulting in production lagging behind schedule.
During the construction of jacket 20-5 for Enping project, we fully rolled out integrated construction for the first time and strictly practiced the instructions for drawings, materials, on-site constructions and others. Thanks to the prefabrication and assembly of most accessory structures carried out synchronously with that of the main structure, the final assembly period and the accessory installation and ending period were even shorter than that of jacket 10-2. This significantly improves the overall construction efficiency of jacket 20-5 and makes it possible to complete the construction and shipment on time.
So far, we have completed three of the four jackets for the Enping 15-1 Oilfield EPC Project. Looking forward, the integrated construction mode is expected to be extended to the construction of jacket 20-4 based on the project team’s experience, and we are confident and capable of completing the project successfully.
