Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer Jiang Jun of CSE implements the construction plan on site

Since its construction in 1997, Slide 2 has carried out the construction and loading of more than 20 projects, among which projects such as the Montara Jacket, Reindeer module, Zawtika Jacket, and NASR trestle in Australia are all shining in CSE's history. In order to seek new development, the current company has improved the ability of the slide to carry floating jackets. The renovation project started on May 23rd and completed on-site acceptance on September 4th, with a planned completion date of ten days in advance.

According to the design plan, the renovation is mainly divided into three major steps, dismantling the piers and abutments, adding cast-in-place piles, and rebuilding the piers and abutments. Six cast-in-place piles are added to the middle piers on both sides. With the support of CSE's leadership, the project team organized the design party, construction party, and supervision party to ensure construction safety and project quality through rigorous design, compliance with regulations, and strict supervision.

Against the backdrop of increasingly fierce industry competition and the trend towards large-scale offshore oil and gas platforms, the renovation of the No.2 slide is a major measure taken by CSE to break the bottleneck and strengthen the foundation. Through this renovation, the unilateral design load of Slide 2 has increased from 675kN/m2 to 850-1050 kN/m2, allowing for the construction of various large-scale marine engineering facilities, including deepwater floating jackets. Since then, CSE has two slides for constructing deep water floating jackets, which will greatly enhance CSE's potential to acquire large-scale projects.

At present, the Xijiang 30-2 deepwater floating jacket has undergone final assembly on the renovated No. 2 slide, which has been completely transformed and will make new contributions on the new journey.
